The 3rd GMG Chess Online Tournament finished in a 2-way tie result. Both, Anatoly Pascua and Sherwin Tiu have 43 points. But Anatoly secured the prize with superior tiebreak.
Throughout the tournament, Anatoly's speed, tactical sharpness, experienced, determination, and unwavering composure were evident in his gameplay. He had a great start with 10-undefeated games and played smoothly in the 2nd half with total of 43 point and superior tiebreak. He received the P2,500 cash prize + certificate. Sherwin Tiu tried to cope the 1st spot, but he fell short of 1-point and placed second with same points and received the P1,250 cash prize + certificate. While Ariel Santander also tried to cope the 1st spot, but he fell short of 2-point and landed on the 3rd spot with 42 points and received the P750 cash prize plus certificate.
