The 15th GMG Chess Online Tournament finished with amazing result. As FM Roel Abelgas obtained 75 points to secured the top spot and getting the P2,000 cash prize and certificate.
Throughout the tournament, Roel's speed, tactical skill, determination, and unwavering momentum were evident in his game play. In the end, he was 3-point ahead of contender. While, IM Michael Concio Jr tried to cope the 1st placed but he was still behind 3 points with only 72 total points, getting the 2nd spot. He received the P1,500 cash prize + certificate. NM Chester Neil Reyes secured the 3rd spot with 69 points and received P1,000 plus certificate.
