Congratulations to the four GMG Chess players and the three regular tournament participants for their outstanding performance in the CMAC Chess Tournament, with several of them making it to the top 10 rankings!
Here is a brief summary of their achievements:
1. Leo was ranked 2nd after winning the final round with his co-fellow GMG chess student Zhiwei and winning the tiebreak among the other 4 players with 6/7 points. He has been training for more than 1 year in GMG Chess. He shown great interest in his weekly training and displayed exceptional strategic skills, determination, and resilience during the tournament. He won also with 5x out of 21 tournaments in GMG Chess.
2. James (Boxiang) was ranked 3rd after losing the final round with Faris, the winner, tie with other 4 players with 6/7 points.He has been training for almost 2 years in GMG Chess. He shown great talent by solving difficult chess puzzles in his weekly training and displayed determination to fight back, despite not winning any tournament in the club, he is consistent in the top.
3. * Tiger was ranked 7th after winning the final round with Platon of Panyaden and winning the tiebreak with Lucas of UCIS with 5.5/7 points. He has been training for almost 2 years in GMG Chess. Impressed with a remarkable performance that placed them among the top 10 participants in the tournament. He exhibited strong analytical thinking, decision-making abilities, and tactical awareness. He won also with4x out of 21 tournaments in GMG Chess.
4. * Will (Zhiwei) was ranked 9th after losing with his GMG Chess teammate Leo in the final round with 5/7 points and winning the tie-breakwith 31.5 Buchholz. He excelled in the CMAC Chess Tournament, showcasing his great tactical skill, passion, and determination. He is currently training in GMG Chess improving his endgame and opening repertoire. He has a potential to become a young chess master.

We congratulate also our regular tournament participants in GMG Chess for achieving great results in CMAC Tounament namely: Vicky (PTIS) as 4thplacer, Lucas (UCIS) as 8th placer and James (PTIS) as 12th placer in overall ranking. They demonstrated consistent performance, adaptability, and a strong grasp of chess fundamentals and showcased a love for chess. (see the picture below)

We congratulate also our GMG Chess members showing good performance despite not including in top 10 Erwin (PTIS) with 4.5/7 points, if he won the last game he would be in top 10, and Rick (APIS) with 3/7 points. (see the picture above)
The achievements of the GMG Chess 4 players and the regular tournament participants reflect their talent, hard work, and passion for the game of chess. Their success in the CMAC Chess Tournament is a testament to their skills, experiences, dedication, physical and mental awareness and competitive spirit. Congratulations to all the players for their impressive performance and for representing GMG Chess with honor and excellence.
As we celebrateour chess team's achievements, we look forward to further opportunities for
growth, learning, and success in future competitions. That’s why GMG Chess is expanding
its reach and partnering with leading learning center in Chiang Mai and the potential signing of the ECA-Chess Project in international schools in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. These are significant milestones that can have a positive impact on the chess community in Thailand like conducting and exposing its students more in various tournaments.
